On May 26, Avatr began rolling out the AVATR.OS 5.1.2 system update to users. This version integrates Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.1.5 intelligent driving system and introduces multiple new features and optimizations. A new "Human-Driven Defensive Cornering" feature has been added. In complex urban driving scenarios, it reduces collision risk by limiting acceleration response through the fusion of historical driving data and real-time perception. This feature is available for the Avatr 12, Avatr 11, Avatr 07 Laser Edition, and Avatr 06 Laser Edition. The "Rearward VRU Early Warning" function now identifies pedestrians and cyclists during reversing. If a collision risk is detected, the system highlights the target in red and emits an audible alert. Supported models include the Avatr 12, Avatr 11, Avatr 07 Laser Edition, and Avatr 06 Laser Edition. A new "Cabin High-Temperature Protection" feature allows users to monitor cabin temperature via their mobile app. When the temperature reaches a preset threshold and the vehicle has sufficient battery, the air conditioning can be remotely activated to cool the cabin. This feature applies to the Avatr 12, Avatr 07, and Avatr 06. The DVR dashcam now adds front-left and front-right camera views, with recording rules consistent with other angles. Supported models include the Avatr 12, Avatr 07 Laser Edition, and Avatr 06 Laser Edition. A new "Select Charging Station & Park Nearby" feature enables users to search for charging stations during navigation and select “Find Parking Along Route into Complex.” The system will then guide the vehicle into the facility and automatically locate a nearby parking spot. This is available for the Avatr 12, Avatr 11, Avatr 07 Laser Edition, and Avatr 06 Laser Edition. During navigation, users can now edit waypoints: tapping the overview button enters the editing interface to modify the route. Additionally, tapping or dragging the map background during navigation quickly brings up the search box for convenient waypoint addition. These features apply to the Avatr 12, Avatr 11, Avatr 07 Laser Edition, and Avatr 06 Laser Edition. NCA (Navigate on City Streets Assist) activation scenarios have been further expanded. In non-intersection areas where the system deems conditions safe, restrictions on vehicle position and heading direction have been relaxed. Supported models remain the same as above. A new "Seamless 3D Vehicle Model Interaction" is introduced. After setting the central display to 3D desktop mode, users can tap the temperature icon to instantly access and adjust climate settings. This feature is available for the Avatr 12 Quad-Laser Edition, Avatr 07 2026 Model, and Avatr 06. The Avatr 12 now supports HarmonySpace 5 MoLA large model within the Harmony Cockpit. The information display logic of the Star Ring Screen has been optimized for current Avatr 12 models, as well as the Avatr 07 and Avatr 06. Vehicle unlock reminder logic has been improved: if the vehicle remains unlocked after the user leaves, the system will send an off-app notification via the mobile application after five minutes. This enhancement covers all variants of the Avatr 12, Avatr 11, Avatr 07, and Avatr 06. Voice interaction has been enhanced with new voice options, including the original XiaoYi female voice and a child-like female tone, along with support for custom wake words. These updates apply to the Avatr 12, Avatr 07, and Avatr 06.
