The X2 is a compact SUV owned by BMW that is currently imported into China. According to the news IIA learnt from BMW on Wednesday, the BMW X2 produced by BMW Brilliance was officially unveiled. The appearance of the new car is basically the same as that of the overseas version, but in terms of configuration, the new car has added the M sports package with a new integrated M sports seat. The new car is equipped with a new generation of B-Series turbine engines with the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system.

The made-in-China BMW X2 follows the design of the overseas version. The kidney grille adopts an inverted trapezoidal structure design, and the high-gloss black grille bar is in sharp contrast with the chrome-plated edging of the grille. Both the low beam and the high beam use LEDs, which together with the hexagonal LED daytime running lights and the round LED fog lights form the lighting system of the new car.

There are two typical BMW designs on the C-pillar, one is the iconic Hofmeister corner and the other is the first C-pillar BMW logo on the BMW X. The rear bumper is in a combined color of the car body color and matt black. The M off-road package model is equipped with a custom diffuser insert with a matte gray contrast color. The exhaust pipe has a diameter of 90 mm. In addition, the made-in-China BMW X2 is only 5 mm lower than the overseas version.

The cockpit of the domestic BMW X2 features a driver-centered design. The 6.5-inch center console display can be upgraded to 8.8-inch, the dashboard is designed with contrast stitching and moldings, and the center console adopts Secsatec leather. The interior of the M off-road package features a combination of Micro Hexagon fabric and Alcantara Anthracite. The new car has a trunk capacity of 470 liters and can be expanded to 1,355 liters after the second row of seats has been lowered.

The new car is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 157 kW. In addition, the new car adds a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 114 kW.
