The Kaicene F70 has started its pre-sale on October 10, with a pre-sale price range of 103,800 to 14,800 yuan. The IIA learned from Changan Kaicene that the Kaicene F70 will be available on Monday. The new car was jointly developed by Changan Automobile and Peugeot Citroen Group. Its front end adopts a large-area air intake grille, and the middle banner chrome trim is strong and powerful. What’s more, the new car will be have two diesel engines optional.

The front end of the new car features a large grille, and the chrome trim is thicker with an English logo in the middle. The headlights on both sides have lenses inside and LED daytime running lights. The circular fog light on the sides of the Kaicene F70's front bumper has a black panel to make the car more refined. Moreover, this pickup is also equipped with a roof rack and side pedals to increase the convenience of off-road travel.

The side of the new car is smooth. This pickup has a ground clearance of 230mm and a wading depth of up to 900mm. Vertical taillights are placed on both sides of the large tailgate. The black bumper on the bottom is equipped with a large chrome finish on both sides, which highlights the characteristics of the American off-road vehicle.

For the body, the Changan Kaicheng F70 will be available in two different models, the extended cab and crew cab. The extended cab has a length, width and height of 5,330mm, 1,930mm, and 1,835mm, respectively, and have a wheelbase of 3,180mm.

The interior of the Changan KaichengF70 is dominated by dark colors and accented with chrome trim. A chrome trim is also added around the two-spoke multi-function steering wheel. The front of the double disc dashboard has a large display in the middle to display information such as fuel consumption and water temperature. The floating display in the center console area supports reversing camera. Moreover, this pickup also equips a horizontal air conditioner vent, and its knob type design is also convenient to operate.

This pickup offers two versions of the Nation-V emission standard 2.0T diesel engine and the Jiangxi Isuzu 2.5T diesel engine. The 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 110 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The 2.5T engine has a maximum power of 95 kW and a peak torque of 320 Nm. In terms of the transmission system, both versions match the 6-speed manual transmission.
