It is reported that Chery sold 53,100 new cars last month, of which the Tiggo series and the Jetour series increased by 10.8% and 18% respectively year-on-year. At the same time, the group exported 8,957 vehicles in January, a 1.2% increase from the previous month.

Although the reduction of working days during the Chinese New Year holiday and the NCP epidemic, which have brought continuous downward pressure on the automotive market, the brands of Chery Group have maintained steady growth. Chery Automobile’s Tiggo Series sales in January reached 20,798 units, an increase of 10.8% year-on-year. Among them, the new generation the Tiggo 8 sold 11,005 units, a year-on-year increase of 9%, while the Tiggo 5x sold 5,496 units, a year-on-year increase of 76.5%.

Chery, which has ranked No. 1 in the export of passenger cars of Chinese brands for 17 consecutive years, ushered in a "better start" in export performance in January 2020. According to reports, the Group exported 8,957 vehicles last month, an increase of 1.2% month-on-month. Among them, Chery Automobile brand products represented by the Tiggo 7, the Tiggo 5x, the Tiggo 8, and the Arrizo GX exported a total of 7,976 vehicles, an increase of 2.3% month-on-month and 93.4% year-on-year.
