Aiways recently announced that it will participate in the 2020 Geneva International Auto Show. Its first A + -class intelligent pure electric SUV, the Aiways U5 European model, and the new intelligent pure electric concept car U6 ion will also officially enter the European market. A few days ago, IIA obtained a U6 ion design sketch from Aiways. The car is positioned as a crossover coupe SUV, based on the MAS platform like the Aiways U5.

The pure electric smart coupe SUV U6 ion is directed and participated in the design by Ken Okuyama, chief design and art director of Aiways, and internationally renowned car designer. On the basis of continuing the Aiways family style, the new car uses intelligent blessing to create a minimalist and highly recognizable new design.

The U6 ion is positioned as a crossover coupe SUV. It can be seen in the design sketch that the car uses a slip-on style design. The new car is based on the intelligent pure electric vehicle MAS platform architecture that is being developed by Aiways. Thanks to the advantages of the platform that is extensible, expandable, and adaptable to multiple drive forms, it provides more possibilities for the mass production plan of the new car in the future.
