At present, it has been confirmed that the compact hatchback ID.3 BEV and the first SUV ID.4 BEV will be produced in China. The latter, which was unveiled on March 3, is a compact pure electric SUV built on Volkswagen's latest MEB platform. According to the plan, by 2024, the Volkswagen brand will invest about 11 billion euros in electric mobility.
