The Haval H6 has always been the benchmark model of Chinese-made SUVs. It not only has excellent product strength but also has a very high price-performance ratio. On July 24, IIA learned that at this Chengdu Auto Show, the Haval brand officially released the third-generation Haval H6. As a new generation model, the new car has been upgraded in all aspects.

The third-generation Haval H6 adopts a new design language. The large-size air intake grille still uses a hexagonal shape, but the front grille is changed from the old banner type to a mesh structure, which looks a lot younger. The shape of the LED headlights is relatively flat, with a split design of far and near light, and the fog lights have a cornering light supplement function.

From the side, the sharp lines make the new car three-dimensional and tough. In terms of size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4,653mm, 1,886mm, and 1,730mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 2738mm, which is 58mm longer than the current model.

The difference in the rear is more obvious. Not only is it replaced with the popular through-type taillights, but also a horizontal chrome trim is added under the logo to further widen the visual width of the rear, and its layering is also richer.

The changes in the interior can be described as earth-shaking. Although the style is still simple, the overall sense of luxury and high-end is greatly improved compared with the current models, and the workmanship and materials have also been improved a lot.

In terms of configuration, the third-generation Haval H6 is equipped with 10.25-inch full LCD instrumentation, 12.3-inch central control large screen, HUD, panoramic sunroof, AQS air management system, mobile phone wireless charging, 360-degree surround view, automatic parking, and vehicle-level FOTA , which can be upgraded remotely online.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine model GW4B15A and a 4C20 series 2.0T turbocharged engine. The maximum power is 124 kW and 165 kW, and the peak torque is 285 N·m and 385 N·m, mated with wet 7-DCT gearbox.
