It is reported that Polestar will put into production at the Chengdu plant three new models, codenamed P519, P419, and 723K. It is reported that the three models, including the Precept concept and its first SUV, are expected to be formally released in 2021.

Among the three models, the Precept concept was officially released in February this year, and mass production was officially announced in September. The Precept concept is based on Volvo's SPA 2 platform, using innovative environmentally friendly interior materials, leading human-computer interaction experience and minimalist aesthetic design. It is planned to be trial-produced in September 2021 and then formally put into mass production in April 2022.

In addition, the other two models are expected to be SUV models and may be named Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. Polestar 3 is expected to be released in 2021. The new car is expected to be built on the SPA 2 platform, positioned as a pure electric mid-to-large SUV, with the same wheelbase as the XC90.

It is reported that Polestar 3 will be equipped with a dual-motor power system and a four-wheel drive system. The maximum power of the system will reach 500 horsepower, the battery capacity is 120 kWh, and the maximum cruising range is 600 kilometers. Polestar 4 will also be built on the SPA 2 platform and is expected to be positioned as a pure electric medium and large crossover SUV.
