Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet – This nearly forgotten convertible SUV is still on sale in Europe and continues to offer a manual transmission. While the Golf GTI has recently dropped its manual gearbox, this cabriolet—based on the 2017 T-Roc—retains its three-pedal setup and older interior design, including physical buttons and manual climate controls. Starting at €37,560, it costs roughly €7,000 more than the standard new T-Roc and approaches the price of a Tiguan. Production will end in mid-2027, after which the Volkswagen Group will no longer offer any mainstream convertible models, leaving only premium brands like Porsche, Lamborghini, and Bentley to continue producing open-top vehicles. Additionally, the Polo and Touran still offer manual transmission options in Europe.
