Both models have already been filed with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The e9 is a mid-to-large sedan featuring BYD’s Dragon Face design language, with dimensions of 4,995 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The e7 is positioned as a midsize car, continuing the design language of BYD’s Ocean Network, measuring 4,780 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,515 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Both vehicles are equipped with a front-mounted single motor and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade Batteries. Notably, the e7’s tailgate uses a mechanical opening mechanism and does not feature an electric function.
