2026-02-17 21:03:10Huawei's "Travel Guardian" feature now covers multiple models across the five brands under Harmony Intelligent Mobility. When a vehicle triggers an emergency call (E-CALL), this feature automatically transmits the driver’s real-time heart rate and personal medical information to the rescue center, enabling hospitals to prepare targeted treatment measures in advance. The feature debuted on the Zunjie S800 sedan and requires the user’s smartphone, vehicle infotainment system, and smartwatch to have Bluetooth enabled and be properly paired. Users can generate a QR code via the “Travel Guardian” option in the vehicle settings, scan it with their phone to grant authorization, and then input emergency medical information on their smartphone. If a Huawei Watch is already connected and heart rate synchronization has been authorized, no further setup is needed. The feature is now available with HarmonyOS NEXT version 5.0.1.120 on devices including the Mate 60 and Pura 70 series.
