The XPeng G9L has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Purchase Tax Exemption (Batch 31)." This mid-to-large-size SUV is available in both battery-electric and extended-range variants, each offered in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations, with a standard five-seat layout. The battery-electric version features either a 91.9 kWh or 110 kWh battery pack, offering both ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistries. Under CLTC conditions, its range spans from 672 km to 805 km across six variants: 672 km, 702 km, 725 km, 755 km, 775 km, and 805 km. The RWD models are equipped with a single 270 kW motor, while the AWD versions use a dual-motor setup combining a 160 kW front motor and a 270 kW rear motor. The extended-range variant is powered by a 1.5T range extender (model DAM15NTE) with a maximum output of 110 kW. The RWD configuration uses a single 210 kW motor, whereas the AWD version employs a dual-motor layout with a 160 kW front motor and a 210 kW rear motor. All extended-range models come standard with a 63.3 kWh LFP battery pack, delivering WLTC pure-electric ranges of 325 km and 350 km, respectively. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782 mm in height (with alternative heights of 1,788 mm and 1,795 mm also available), and has a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. The exterior adopts XPeng’s latest family design language, featuring a seamless dual-bar full-width LED light strip at the front. The front fascia is fully enclosed, integrating main headlight units on both sides and an active grille in the center. The rear end features a rounded profile, complemented by a roof spoiler, high-mounted brake light, full-width taillights, and a recessed license plate area paired with a contrasting-color rear bumper.
