This mid-cycle refresh—arriving more than a year after the B-series launch—focuses primarily on enhancing cabin features, addressing user feedback, and optimizing the tri-motor electric powertrain system. The B01 adds two exclusive paint options: Yundai Purple and Liquid Silver. Its cabin features a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display, a 17.3-inch 3K central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, Leap Sound audio with 14 speakers, and a driver-exclusive music headrest. The B10, meanwhile, is equipped with a 55-inch AR-HUD, front-row zero-gravity seats (featuring ventilation, heating, memory welcome function, one-touch zero-gravity mode, 10-point massage, and 4-way adjustable leg and lumbar supports), 256-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof (1.83 m²) with an electric sunshade. Additionally, the B10 now includes a rear wiper, eliminates the previously criticized "versatile" front passenger seat and truncated center console design, and adds rear reading lights. In terms of performance, the B01’s motor delivers 180 kW, while the B10 offers 185 kW. CLTC-rated ranges reach 650 km and 610 km, respectively. The fast-charging platform has been upgraded from 400V to 800V, reducing charging time from 30% to 80% to just 16 minutes. Leapmotor has not yet disclosed whether battery cell suppliers or suspension architecture have been modified. The B-series began rolling out in April 2025 and initially saw strong sales: the B10 surpassed 10,000 units in its second month on the market, followed by the B01 achieving four consecutive months of over 10,000 units sold. By January 2026, cumulative B-series deliveries exceeded 160,000 units. However, sales subsequently declined and failed to sustain the 10,000-unit monthly threshold. Meanwhile, Leapmotor’s overall deliveries continued to grow, reaching 93,376 vehicles globally in June 2026 and surpassing 356,000 units in the first half of the year, driven largely by the C-series. Priced between RMB 100,000 and 150,000, the B-series serves dual roles: driving volume sales and elevating the brand’s positioning, while also acting as a global platform for international markets. This refresh aims to revitalize market performance through enhanced product competitiveness and is expected to launch in July 2026. Market speculation suggests the top-trim variant could be priced at RMB 129,800, with certain premium features offered as optional add-ons.
