On July 6, INA learned from SAIC-GM official that Chevrolet will launch a new model in the third quarter of this year, named “WOLANDUO”(Orlando). From its naming, the new car is more similar to Chevrolet’s classic car Volt in Chinese, rather than that of the previously guess SUV EQUINOX. Based on the FNR-X concept car, the appearance of Orlando adopts a brand new design and breaks through the shape of traditional sedan.
Chevrolet FNR-X concept car was officially unveiled at the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show. The new car adopts the design of up-down split air-inlet grille and the upper grille is connected with the headlights. The lines are expressive and powerful. The appearance of Orlando is based on the FNR-X concept car. From the current detail photos, we found that the new car will be equipped with a set of Redline appearance kit and its logo will be painted in silver black.
These are spy photos of Orlando at the previous road test. We can see that the new car is a sedan but with a SUV body height, which will add more internal space for passengers. So far we do not acquire any other information about the new car, and we will continue to keep an eye on it.
