MG HS Real Shot Preview, Hormone SUV with Geek style

On August 8, MG introduced a new SUV, MG HS, which will be launched in September officially and the pre-sale price is about 200,000 yuan. According to the MG official, MG HS is built by a bunch of GEEKs. Then let’s find what makes MG HS stand out.

Based on the concept car

In terms of the appearance, MG HS is pretty similar to the X-motion concept car in the overall design, with the details optimization to activate more hormone.

The lighting set has a very chic look, using LED as the light. It has a good recognition after it is lightened. And it matches with the dot-matrix front grille. In that way, the overall design is more attractive.

The body of MG HS is relatively mellow and balanced from the side of the car, without many fierce or dramatic lines. The combination of light and shadow is highlighted mostly.

MG HS is equipped with Michelin 235/50 R18 tires. To show its dynamic characteristic, it adopts more sporty wheel hubs and the brake caliper painted in red.

The tail design is fairly mellow too. The bottom part is decorated with silver shielding, adding a few of chrome decoration to improve the whole visual effect.  

The design of LED rear lamps is also as excellent as that of head lamps, with an extraordinary visual effect after it is lightened.

In terms of chassis suspension, MG HS takes the structure of front MacPherson, rear the multi-link.

As the limited edition based on MG X-motion, MG HS removes the fierce and dramatic elements of the concept car and turns into a younger and modern design to express the comprehension of the dynamic characteristic. And it adopts the combination of light and shadow to become a car full of hormone. It is believed that the design and the concept of MG HS will definitely make young people passionate about it.

Interior which can stimulate the secretion of hormone

The interior design of MG HS is able to stimulate the secretion of the hormone as well. The red & black contrast interior design and the large coverage area of soft materials improve the visual effect and the sense of touch, better than those of the same class.

MG HS did a quite good job in building the luxury interior. The whole interior is covered with soft materials and those parts near at hand are wrapped with the leather to maintain the overall classic look.

The design of the steering wheel engages the sports element and to further emphasize the theme of Hormone, MG HS also adopts the SUPER SPORT button of the steering wheel. The configuration is definitely the one and only in the mainstream SUVs.

Besides the steering wheel, the full LCD dashboard will stimulate the secretion of hormone of young people. On the dashboard, there is the complete vehicle information and it supports the color change of different themes. In addition, this is the first SAIC petrol vehicle which is equipped with this configuration.

Although the center console of MG HS is not very big, its performance in the internal integration is fairly good. The "i-Smart" system is able to support multiple services such as intelligent voice, remote control and Koala FM etc.  

Physical buttons inside MG HS follow the rule of “Simple is the key” and adopt the design of piano key. The introduction of this design concept creates a classy vibe perfectly.

The seats take the integrated style and the wrapping and supporting is outstanding. Meanwhile, the color blocking seats contribute to a shocking visual effect. The bold design concept will keep the whole sports spirit going on.

The dynamic characteristic doesn’t mean that MG HS will come to terms with the comfort. The umbrella compartment, BOSE stereo, Hormone fragrance and 64-color mood lighting, all of these represent the pursuance of MG HS for the quality of life.   

In conclusion: As a model for the young, MG HS has already figured out what young people really want, what they care about at the beginning. Therefore, regardless of the design or the configuration, MG HS reaches the expectation of young people. And in terms of the price, compared to the rival models, MG HS is more competitive with a better price.
