New Toyota Corolla sedan, first release in Guangzhou on Nov 16

Toyota Corolla is a compact sedan. The all-new model is designed based on the GA-C platform of TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) and its hatchback version was released officially at the 2018 Paris Auto Show. IIA has learned that the all-new Corolla sedan version and the PHEV version will debut in Guangzhou on November 16. The front face of the new model adopts a new appearance design: a bigger grille matching with the redesigned sickle lighting set on both sides, contributing to a pretty good visual effect. According to overseas spy photos, the sickle headlights and the big grille make the front face more edgy. The sides of the vehicle are pretty sleek and the all-through waist design gives it a 3-dimensional effect. The design of the little duck-tail trunk shows the dynamic characteristics.

In terms of interior, the new Corolla is expected to adopt the same design of the hatchback version. The combination of the 3-spoke steering wheel and the LCD dashboard gives it a high-tech vibe.
