# National VI emission standard Shanghai
Recently, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Notice of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government on the Implementation of the Sixth Phrase of National Motor Vehicle Emission Standard of Air Pollutant for Light-duty Vehicles in Shanghai". The notice states that since July 1, 2019, light-duty vehicles that have been registered in Shanghai, including vehicles that were transferred from other provinces and cities, will implement the National VI B standard.
What’s more, from July 1st, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Tianjin will begin to implement the National VI B standard, and Hainan Province and Henan Province will implement the National VI emission standard.
# Plummeting Q1 interim report
The Q1 financial data of 13 A-share car companies and one Hong Kong stock-listed car company shows that more than half of the companies’ operating revenue has declined to varying degrees, and the net income attributed to shareholders of 11 car companies has fallen. Haima and FAW Xiali also fallen in three-consecutive month in Q1. However, compared to the same period last year, the losses of the two car companies have narrowed. As a representative of new energy companies, BYD made excellent performance in both revenue and net profit, achieving a year-on-year growth of 22.5% and 631.98% respectively.
