Lexus up 27% in first five months, exceeded 1m users

On June 1, IIA learned from Lexus that the company sold nearly 76,000 vehicles in the first five months, a year-on-year increase of 27%. It is worth mentioning that, at present, the number of Lexus's users in China have exceeded 1 million.

In the first five months of this year, Lexus sold a total of nearly 76,000 new cars, among which the sales of the h intelligence models exceeded 25,000 units, accounting for 33% of the total. Moreover, the cumulative sales in South China exceeded 36,000 units, up 29% year-on-year. Since entering China in 2005, Lexus has maintained steady growth for 14 consecutive years. Lexus has ushered in the most important milestone that the number of its users in China have exceeded 1 million.

New RX/ RX L

In order to maintain steady growth, Lexus's layout in various market segments is improving, and it will continue to launch more products. Lexus has launched the new RX and RX L today, of which the RX L is available in six- and seven-seat versions and is expected to hit the Chinese market in the future.
