#SAIC Motor’s new president

July 4, the Shanghai Municipal Government issued a public notice. Wang Xiaoqiu, the current vice president of SAIC Group, the general manager of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Company and the director of the Technology Center, will take over Chen Zhixin, who is about to retire, as the president of SAIC.

#Chery’s self-owned brand soared 8.5%

July 4, 2019, IIA learned from Chery that the group sold a total of 325,000 vehicles in the first half of the year, of which 285,000 were self-owned brands, up 8.5% year-on-year, and the sales of commercial vehicles achieved a rapid growth of 90.2%.
