SAIC sold 5.54 mln vehicles in first 11 months

IIA learned from SAIC that the group sold a total of 581,932 new cars in November, a year-on-year decrease of 9.58%. Cumulative sales in the first 11 months reached 5,540,270 units, a year-on-year decrease of 13.33%. It is worth mentioning that SAIC's sales in overseas markets are relatively outstanding. Among them, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automotive Indonesia Co., Ltd. sold 19,811 units in the first 11 months, a year-on-year increase of 114.89%. MG Motors India Ltd. sold 3,172 units in November.

Note: The data in the table below is only for the company's production and sales express report data. SAIC MAXUS production and sales data includes the Yue Jin brand. SAIC-GM-Wuling Indonesia started selling the entire vehicle in 2018. Its production and sales data was transferred from SAIC-GM-Wuling in January 2019 and was officially included in this report. The data for the same period in 2018 has also been adjusted accordingly. MG Motor India started to sell vehicles in 2019, and its production and sales data was formally included in this report in July 2019.

From the perspective of sales of various subsidiaries, SAIC MAXUS has a relatively high sales volume. A total of 16,289 new cars were sold in November, a year-on-year growth rate of 45.56%. SAIC PV benefited from the combined products, and its sales volume increased month by month. In November, the sales volume was 63,535 units, a year-on-year increase of 0.84%, and the sales decline in the first eleven months decreased to 5.74%. SAIC-Volkswagen's November sales volume increased by 4.28% year-on-year and 22.78% month-on-month. The sales growth rate turned positive as scheduled.
