IIA learned from SAIC-Volkswagen that SAIC-Volkswagen's first medium and large MPV model Viloran will be unveiled on April 17. The car made its debut at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show, but only the appearance of the new car was released at the time. This online release is also the first appearance of the interior part of SAIC Volkswagen Viloran. SAIC Volkswagen Viloran is based on the MQB platform, and competitors will directly target GL8.
The length, width and height of the new car are 5,346mm, 1,976mm, and 1,781mm, and the wheelbase is 3,180mm, which is much larger than its main competitor GL8. In appearance design, the new car uses a family-oriented front end, and uses the sliding door commonly used in MPV models. In addition, the interior of the new car will be the highlight of this online release.
SAIC Volkswagen Viloran will provide two kinds of power, both equipped with 2.0T engine. Among them, the maximum output power of the high-power version is 162kW, and the low-power version is 137kW. The matching transmission system is a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox.
