IIA obtained the new Tiguan design drawings from Volkswagen. The new car adopts a new style front face design, and changes the headlights, bumpers and other details. It is reported that the car will make a new debut this summer and will be listed overseas at the end of the year. In addition, according to information reported by overseas media, the new Tiguan is also expected to launch a GTI performance version in the future.
Combined with the previous spy photos, Volkswagen's new Tiguan uses a headlight group design similar to the new Golf 8, with a double banner chrome grille to further extend the visual width.
It is reported that the new car will also upgrade the configuration, standard LED front and rear light groups. The car will also be equipped with a locomotive system with OTA upgrade and on-board Wi-Fi. In terms of power, it is expected that after the introduction of domestic, the new car will continue to be equipped with 1.4T and 2.0T engines, matching 6-speed or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and some models will be equipped with 4MOTION four-wheel drive system. The GTI version is expected to be equipped with the same 2.0T engine as the eighth-generation Golf GTI. There is no precise information on whether it will be introduced in China in the future.
