SAIC and China BaoWu cooperate in hydrogen energy industry

From:Internet Info Agency 2020-07-16 14:03:34

It is reported that Shanghai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (SAIC) and China BaoWu Steel Group Corporation Limited (China BaoWu) formally signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will broaden the scope of cooperation and improve the level of cooperation in specific directions such as the use of hydrogen energy, comprehensive automotive materials, smart supply chains, and industrial finance.

SAIC Maxus has developed simultaneously on the three technical routes of "pure electricity, plug-in, fuel cell". In terms of fuel cell models, following the first commercial operation of SAIC Maxus MAXUS FCV80 in 2017, on June 23, 2020, the first vehicle of SAIC Maxus MAXUS EUNIQ 7 MCB stage was officially off the assembly line, which means that the entire production of EUNIQ 7 A production line is ready.

MAXUS EUNIQ 7 is the world's first fuel cell MPV model. In terms of power, it is equipped with a new-generation stack system and integrated high-power density fuel cell powertrain integration. During driving, the high-pressure hydrogen storage tank equipped with EUNIQ 7 sends hydrogen into the fuel cell. The electrical energy generated by the combined reaction of hydrogen and oxygen in the stack directly drives the electric drive system, which directly drives the vehicle forward. Therefore, the discharge produced by EUNIQ 7 is only clean water, which is highly consistent with the current environmental protection concept.

The maximum power of the MAXUS EUNIQ 7 motor is 150kW, and the acceleration time of the whole vehicle is 0-50km/h in less than 4 seconds. The hydrogen consumption per 100 kilometers is 1.18kg, and the NEDC comprehensive operating range is 605km. It can complete hydrogenation within 5 minutes. In addition, the vehicle uses a central hydrogen bottle, with dual-circuit power off and hydrogen protection measures, which further improves the safety of EUNIQ 7.

In addition to MAXUS EUNIQ 7, MAXUS FCV80, another fuel cell product, has taken the lead in commercial operation, providing daily operation services in Shanghai, Fushun, Foshan, Wuxi, Dalian, Qingdao, Changzhi and other places, with a total operating mileage of more than 3 million kilometers. Among them, the MAXUS FCV80 fuel cell vehicle will start commercial operation in Wuxi in 2019, serving the passenger dedicated line from Shuofang Airport to Jiangyin Passenger Terminal. It is expected to operate more than 300,000 kilometers per year and transport nearly 20,000 passengers.
