IIA learned from Chery Holding Group that the group sold 69,075 cars in September, and all of its auto brands showed a growth trend. Among them, Chery Automobile sold 42,317 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%, of which 28,241 vehicles were sold domestically and 9,991 were exported, representing year-on-year growth rates of 3.5% and 25.3% respectively. In addition, Chery's new energy vehicle market performed equally well in September, with sales of 4,085 units, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%.

Outstanding sales performance is naturally inseparable from the strong support of new products. Among them, Chery Automobile launched a new generation of Tiggo 5x, a new generation of Tiggo 7, a new generation of Tiggo 8 upgraded version, Arrizo 5 sports version and other models during the year. The recently launched new generation of Tiggo 7 Shenxing Edition, Chery New Energy Ant and the upcoming brand new flagship SUV-Tiggo 8 PLUS will also further help the company's subsequent sales growth.

At the same time, the product portfolio has become more diversified, and the blessing of innovative models such as new marketing and new retail is also an important factor in the growth of Chery's sales for 4 consecutive months.

After Chery's high-end brand EXEED ushered in the launch of the Xingtu LX 1.5T Ride the Wind and Waves version in July, in August EXEED TXL won the 2020 C-NCAP five-star + evaluation with a combined score of 93.6%. At the Beijing Auto Show that opened on September 26, EXEED released a new M3X Mars architecture. Based on this architecture, a new generation of TXL and EXEED VX 290T will be unveiled simultaneously and pre-sale will be launched. It is expected to be available within the year.

In addition, Jetour sold 10,050 cars in September, and the cumulative sales have reached nearly 240,000. The joint-venture brands Chery Jaguar Land Rover and COWIN Auto sold 6,075 and 3,743 vehicles in September, representing year-on-year growth of 30% and 74.5% respectively.

In overseas markets, Chery has deepened its globalization strategy and withstood the global COVID-19 impact. From January to September, Chery Group exported a total of 73,679 cars, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%. A series of Chery Automobile star products led by the new generation of Tiggo 8 have landed in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Ukraine, the Philippines, Peru and other markets, enabling Chery Automobile to export 69,371 vehicles in the first three quarters, a year-on-year increase of 36.4%. Up to now, Chery Group's global car users have exceeded 8.75 million units, and the cumulative number of exported cars has exceeded 1.65 million units.
