Geely PREFACE will hit the market on Nov. 1

IIA learned from Geely that its new compact sedan PREFACE will be launched on November 1. At the same time, Geely also launched a PREFACE designer-recommended model, limited to 3,000 units, and the price is 137,700 yuan. In terms of power, PREFACE will be equipped with Volvo Drive-E series 2.0TD direct injection turbocharged engine.

PREFACE adopts a new family-style design, which is sportier as a whole. The shield-shaped grille is equipped with a waterfall-style decorative strip, and the three-stage design has a visual impact. At the rear of the car, the chrome-plated trim strip runs through to extend the visual width, and there are two oval tail rows on both sides of the bottom to enhance the sportiness.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a "space-time overlapping cockpit" design and uses two colors of blue and gray. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrumentation and a 12.3-inch floating central control screen, and the overall visual effect is more concise. In addition, the new car is equipped with an OTA cloud upgrade system for the entire vehicle, which can expand information interconnection, autonomous driving, and big data cloud services.

In terms of configuration, PREFACE is equipped with L2 level autopilot system, BSD, HUD system, APA and automatic braking, RPA, 540° panoramic image, etc. In addition, it has VOC grade ecological and environmentally friendly antibacterial materials, AQS, negative ion air purification system, intelligent ventilation System, vehicle-grade CN95 high-efficiency composite air-conditioning filter and other scientific and healthy configuration.

In terms of power, Geely PREFACE will be equipped with a Volvo Drive-E series 2.0TD mid-mounted direct-injection turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 140kW and a peak torque of 300N·m. The transmission system is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. At the same time, the new car adopts MacPherson front suspension, E-type multi-link independent rear frame, ZF DP-EPS power steering system, long-travel shock absorber, etc., to enhance comfort and sportiness.
