Kia Sportage R Ace will hit the market in May 2021

IIA learned from Kia that the Kia Sportage R Ace will be launched in May 2021. The appearance design of new cars is more and more sci-fi. In terms of power, the Sportage R Ace will be equipped with a 1.5T engine, and a 2.0L version is expected to be added in the future.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car uses an enlarged tiger-style air intake grille, which demonstrates a domineering and fashionable style. Orange trims are added around the front bumper and the body to make the vehicle more dynamic.

The side of the body is relatively simple, the waistline design is tough, and the ground clearance can cope with most road conditions. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4,530mm, 1,850mm and 1,695mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2,640mm. The Sportage R Ace taillights are designed with square rounded corners, and the LED strips are arranged vertically. At the same time, in the details, you can also see that the outside of the taillights of the car extend to the fenders. The silvery fenders are matched with yellow decorations, which can not only play a protective role, but also show a sense of fashion.

Sportage R Ace adopts a load-bearing body and front McPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link suspension. The 18-inch wheels are matched with AT tires to increase the trafficability of the vehicle. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 200Ps. It is reported that a 2.0L engine version will be added in the future. From the perspective of the chassis, the drive shaft space reserved in advance for the vehicle is expected to be added to the four-wheel drive version in the future.
