On January 8, BYD rolled out the OTA update version 1.5.0 for the 2025 Denza D9, introducing multiple new features and optimizations. Key additions include "Privacy Sound Shield" (available exclusively on the Supreme trim), "Intelligent Motion Sickness Prevention" (available on the Prestige, Supreme, and all base trims), highway toll gate passage support for Navigation-on-Pilot (requires ETC), voice announcements during parking maneuvers, an Extreme Range Mode (for the BEV AWD variant), and AI-powered voice feedback. Additional updates include high-risk video uploads for Sentry Mode, reminders for unsecured energy port covers, map-based destination selection, turn-signal alerts for driving assistance, and emergency collision avoidance. The system’s user interface and standby power consumption have also been optimized to enhance the overall user experience.
