The Geely Galaxy A7 long-range variant has recently appeared in the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) application catalog. It is equipped with a 28.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 175 km. The new model retains the current design language, featuring a closed-off front fascia, full-width LED light bar, and hidden exhaust outlets. Its dimensions measure 4,918 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm. Due to the increased battery capacity, the vehicle’s curb weight has risen to 1,775 kg. Powertrain-wise, it continues to use the 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, with the engine producing a maximum output of 82 kW and the electric motor expected to carry over the existing 175 kW version. The vehicle will offer multiple optional configurations and, upon launch, will compete against models such as the BYD Qin L DM.
