Arcfox L3 Autonomous Vehicle Launches Pilot in Beijing, Opening to Individuals in Q2

On January 10, BAIC BluePark New Energy, in collaboration with Beijing Mobility, officially launched a large-scale pilot operation for the Arcfox Alpha S (L3 version) on public roads. The first batch of L3 autonomous vehicles has already begun test runs on designated sections of the Jing-Tai Expressway, Airport North Line Expressway, and Daxing Airport Expressway. This pilot marks the official entry of BAIC BluePark’s L3 intelligent connected vehicles into real-world road applications. According to plans, the service will gradually open to individual users in the second quarter of this year, advancing high-level autonomous driving technology from demonstration toward widespread adoption.
