On January 10, BAIC BluePark took a critical step forward in the field of autonomous driving: its Level 3 Arcfox Alpha S officially launched large-scale on-road pilot trials, while simultaneously announcing an expanded strategic partnership with Pony.ai under a "five-in-one" framework focused on the mass production and operation of Level 4 Robotaxis. As the first Chinese automaker to achieve full coverage from L2 to L4 autonomous driving, BAIC BluePark—leveraging its self-developed "Yuanjing Intelligence" architecture—secured China’s first batch of official L3 license plates in December 2025. Since initiating collaboration in November 2024, the two companies have already mass-produced over 600 L4 Arcfox Alpha T5 Robotaxis, which operate across diverse complex scenarios and demonstrate safety performance more than ten times that of human drivers. Commercial operations in core urban areas began in November 2025. Moving forward, the partners will deepen integration across five key dimensions—products, markets, industrial chains, ecosystems, and capital—to accelerate the commercialization of autonomous driving in China.
