According to the latest data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), BYD’s Qin family swept the top two spots in compact and midsize sedan sales in 2025: the Qin PLUS sold 387,315 units, while the Qin L reached 264,671 units. To maintain this momentum, the 2026 BYD Qin PLUS DM-i and Qin L DM-i 210KM Long Range variants have officially launched, priced between RMB 89,800 and RMB 122,800. The new models are equipped with a 25.28 kWh battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 210 km—making them the only plug-in hybrid sedans in their class to exceed 200 km of pure electric range. With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the combined driving range reaches an impressive 2,110 km, while the fuel consumption in low-battery conditions is as low as 2.79 L/100 km, translating to an operating cost of approximately RMB 0.2 per kilometer. In terms of intelligent features, the Qin L 210KM Yun Nian trim comes with the DiPilot 100 advanced driver-assistance system, supporting highway navigation assistance and one-touch automatic parking. It also includes the standard TBC Blowout Control system (effective up to 140 km/h) paired with the Yun Nian-C suspension, offering an optimal balance of comfort and safety.
