On January 12, Chery Group held its "Ride into New Horizons" 2026 Brand Gala in Shanghai. The event showcased Chery’s five brands—Chery, Exeed, Jetour, iCAR, and Jaecoo—and unveiled the company’s 2025 performance results: total annual sales reached 2,806,393 units, up 7.8% year-over-year; exports hit 1,344,020 units, maintaining its position as China’s top passenger vehicle exporter for the 23rd consecutive year; and new energy vehicle (NEV) sales surged 54.9% year-over-year to 903,847 units. In terms of quality, Chery received a nomination for the China Quality Award and became the only Chinese independent brand to earn J.D. Power’s “Five-Crown” distinction. In 2025, Chery successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and climbed to No. 233 on the Fortune Global 500 list. At the event, Chery also announced its 2026 targets: aiming for 3.2 million units in sales, launching 17 new models, and accelerating its electrification and intelligent mobility strategies. Additionally, the company introduced a combined national and manufacturer subsidy policy, offering up to RMB 20,000 in total subsidies on select models, along with lifetime whole-vehicle warranty coverage across its entire lineup.
