On January 13, AITO officially announced that its one-millionth production vehicle rolled off the assembly line at Seres’ Super Factory, marking the first million-unit milestone achieved under the "new cross-industry integration model." Kang Bo, Vice President of Seres Group, revealed that when he joined the company in August 2022, AITO’s cumulative sales had not yet reached 30,000 units. Since launching its first model, the M5, in collaboration with Huawei in December 2021, AITO has successively introduced multiple smart electric SUVs—including the M7, M9, and M8—rapidly gaining market traction thanks to technologies such as Huawei’s HarmonyOS cockpit and advanced intelligent driving systems. Notably, the M9 has maintained its position as the best-selling vehicle in the RMB 500,000+ segment for 20 consecutive months since its launch, while the M8 has delivered over 150,000 units within just eight months of its market debut. AITO has now accomplished a leap from its initial launch to one million vehicles produced and aims to achieve its second million-unit milestone within the next two years.
