SVOLT Energy officially unveiled its Stack 4.0 battery technology at its 6th Battery Day on January 13. The new technology introduces an industry-first "16-layer simultaneous stacking" process, doubling the efficiency compared to the previous Stack 3.0's "8-layer flying stack" method and enabling compatibility with larger-format cells. A single Stack 4.0 production line achieves an annual capacity exceeding 1 GWh, reducing cost per watt-hour by 34%. According to the announcement, the 2D/3D design for this technology was completed by the end of 2025, with mass production scheduled for Q2 2026.
