On January 13, Renault globally debuted its all-new crossover, the Filante, in Seoul, South Korea. Built on the CMA architecture, the Filante features avant-garde styling and an innovative lighting design. It is powered by an upgraded E-Tech full-hybrid system delivering a maximum output of 250 horsepower and debuts three new intelligent technologies: Emergency Steering Assist, Smart Streaming Rearview Mirror, and Child Presence Detection (CPD). The Filante will launch first in South Korea in March 2026, followed by expansion into Latin America, with plans to enter Gulf countries in early 2027. Renault stated that the Filante is a key model in its overseas profit-growth strategy. Between 2024 and 2027, Renault plans to introduce eight new models outside Europe, five of which will target the high-value C- and D-segment markets, aiming for one in every three vehicles sold overseas to be a hybrid or electric model.
