BYD Ocean Network's dual flagships, Seagull 08 and Sealion 08, to debut in Q1

At the recent Ocean Network User Gala, BYD announced that two new premium models—the Seagull 08 and the Sea Lion 08—will make their official debut in the first quarter of this year. As dual flagships of the Ocean Series 8 lineup, both vehicles exceed five meters in length and feature a wheelbase of approximately three meters, emphasizing spaciousness and luxury. Their exteriors showcase Ocean Network’s signature wave-inspired front grille, full-width taillights, and semi-flush door handles, delivering a presence comparable to high-end luxury sedans. The new models will be equipped with hardware including LiDAR and cameras to support advanced driver-assistance systems, along with BYD’s megawatt-level flash charging technology. Additionally, the cabins are expected to integrate BYD’s intelligent ecosystem. The launch of these two models will further strengthen Ocean Network’s premium product portfolio, making them highly anticipated additions.
