On January 13, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, announced that the 1,000,000th AITO vehicle—part of Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility alliance—has officially rolled off the production line, achieving this milestone in just 46 months and setting a new record as the fastest Chinese new-energy brand to reach one million deliveries. Yu revealed that the AITO M9 holds a commanding 70% market share in the segment of vehicles priced above RMB 500,000 (accounting for 7 out of every 10 vehicles sold). The M8 has consistently ranked as the best-selling SUV in the RMB 400,000 price bracket for six consecutive months, while cumulative deliveries of the M7 have reached 400,000 units. Additionally, the M9 leads its class in both Net Promoter Score (NPS) and resale value retention. Developed jointly by Seres and Huawei, the AITO brand was launched in 2021 and has since introduced multiple smart electric SUVs, including the M5, M7, M8, and M9. Yu Chengdong stated that the next million-unit delivery target will be achieved even faster.
