Founded just four months ago, industrial embodied intelligence startup Zhiyou Wujie has already completed three rounds of financing, raising nearly RMB 50 million in total. On January 13, 2026, the company announced it had secured a RMB 20 million angel round led by an investment firm specializing in automotive technology, with participation from multiple industrial capital investors. Established in August 2025 and spun out of Professor Wang Xueqian’s Intelligent Robotics Lab at Tsinghua University, Zhiyou Wujie focuses on a “model-defined hardware” technical approach, primarily developing robots for logistics handling and ship hull painting. Its technology stack integrates cloud-based multimodal large models, edge-side expert models, and task-level reinforcement learning to create generalizable intelligent hardware. Founder Guo Guanqiu, a Ph.D. graduate of Tsinghua University, holds multiple patents and extensive engineering implementation experience. The company has already secured orders from clients including Shum Yip International, COSCO Shipping, and Jiasheng New Materials, serving central state-owned enterprises, local SOEs, and industry unicorn companies.
