Buick’s all-new midsize SUV, the Zhi Jing E7, will make its official debut in the first quarter of this year. The vehicle has already been registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and accompanied by official images. Exterior design continues Buick’s “Wing Elements” design language, featuring a shark-inspired front fascia, split-type Starlight Wing headlamps, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. It is equipped with the “Xiaoyao Smart Drive” advanced driver-assistance system powered by Momenta’s large AI model. The body incorporates semi-recessed door handles, balancing low aerodynamic drag with safety. At the rear, a full-width light bar integrates dotted lighting elements and auxiliary driving indicator lights. Under the hood, the Zhi Jing E7 is powered by the “Zhenlong Plug-in Hybrid Pro” system, combining a 1.5T engine with an electric motor to deliver a CLTC-rated combined range exceeding 1,600 kilometers. Interior details have not yet been disclosed.
