On January 14, spy photos of the all-new Li Auto L9 prototype were revealed. Despite heavy camouflage, the vehicle’s overall silhouette closely resembles the current model, retaining the brand’s signature front-end design with an uninterrupted full-width “Star Ring” light bar. The split headlights appear upgraded, potentially supporting matrix lighting and projection functions. The roof-mounted LiDAR unit has been downsized for better integration into the bodywork, and the wheels appear to measure approximately 21 inches in diameter. The rear end shows minimal changes, though the pronounced rear-wheel steering angle confirms this feature will be included. The top-trim variant may come equipped with a 73 kWh battery, 5C ultra-fast charging capability, and an active suspension system. All trims will standardly feature Li Auto’s next-generation self-developed range extender, electric motor, and chips. The new model is expected to maintain the current L9 flagship version’s price point, with no increase anticipated.
