On January 14, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, led a delegation to visit Dongfeng Motor Corporation, where he held in-depth discussions with Dongfeng Chairman Yang Qing and other senior executives on topics including the HarmonyOS ecosystem, AI technologies, automotive intelligence, and enterprise digital transformation. The two companies had previously signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in May 2025 and inaugurated a joint innovation lab in September of the same year, marking their collaboration’s evolution from single-product partnerships to full-stack technological integration. It is reported that the first engineering prototype of “Yijing,” a premium intelligent vehicle brand co-created by Dongfeng and Huawei, rolled off the production line on December 22, 2025. The vehicle will be equipped with Huawei’s latest Qiankun Smart Solution and is scheduled to debut at the Beijing Auto Show in 2026. This model is set to become one of the most technologically integrated intelligent vehicles from the partnership, featuring the HarmonyOS NEXT-based Harmony Cockpit system—now upgraded to HarmonySpace 5—and will be among the first to enter the L3-level intelligent cockpit era.
