Beijing Benz recently announced that its cumulative vehicle production has officially surpassed the 6 million mark, following the rollout of a long-wheelbase GLC SUV. Since launching its first locally produced E-Class sedan in 2005, Beijing Benz has introduced 14 models tailored for the Chinese market—comprising eight internal combustion engine vehicles and six electric models—spanning sedans, SUVs, and AMG high-performance variants. Among them, all-electric models such as the EQA, EQB, and the new energy GLC offer driving ranges exceeding 600 kilometers. This year, the company will begin production of the all-new all-electric long-wheelbase GLC SUV, which features a wheelbase of 3,027 mm and is equipped with dual motors—one on the front axle delivering 163 kW and one on the rear axle delivering 300 kW. Additionally, new models including the locally produced long-wheelbase GLE SUV will be successively launched, further expanding the product lineup. The company also plans to introduce several key new products by 2026.
