On January 13, Zhengzhou Nissan held an event in Zhengzhou to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ruqi pickup truck and launch its new model, the Jin Ruqi, which officially went on sale starting at RMB 86,800. Positioned as an all-around partner tailored for today’s hardworking professionals, the Jin Ruqi highlights three core strengths: “greater fuel efficiency, higher load capacity, and exceptional durability.” Powered by a Nissan-Renault M9T diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Jin Ruqi achieves a fuel consumption of just 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers—translating to an operating cost of approximately RMB 0.4 per kilometer. It features a flat-bed cargo box measuring 1,890 mm × 1,562 mm, offering class-leading loading efficiency. Built on the same platform and production line as the Nissan Navara, the Jin Ruqi adopts a ZONE BODY structure with nearly 50% high-strength steel content. It also features a fully enclosed “O”-shaped frame and a progressive-rate leaf spring rear suspension, enabling a maximum payload capacity of 2 tons—delivering both safety and rugged reliability. Carrying forward the trusted legacy of the Ruqi pickup over the past two decades, the Jin Ruqi is set to support the high-quality development of the real economy.
