On the evening of January 15, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, announced during a live stream that Xiaomi’s YU7 will offer a "7-year low-interest" financing plan from 00:00 on January 16, 2026, through February 28. The plan starts with a down payment of RMB 49,900 and monthly installments as low as RMB 2,593. This initiative responds to user demand and directly competes with Tesla’s recently launched similar financing offer. Additionally, during the promotional period, all YU7 models will come with a limited-time complimentary upgrade to dual zero-gravity seats: new customers who place a firm order will receive them automatically, while existing customers who have placed orders but not yet taken delivery can also claim the seats by paying a RMB 1,000 final installment.
