On January 16, spy photos of the first full-size premium family SUV from the new joint brand "Yijing," co-developed by Dongfeng and Huawei Qiankun, were revealed during road testing. The vehicle will feature Huawei Qiankun’s full-stack intelligent solutions, including Qiankun Intelligent Driving, HarmonyOS Cockpit, and Qiankun Vehicle Control, and will be equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. Its exterior design includes split headlights, a continuous LED daytime running light strip, a closed-off front grille, and flush door handles, while the rear features a贯穿-style taillight assembly. The body prominently displays the “Huawei Qiankun | Yijing” badge. The first production-intent prototype rolled off the assembly line last month and is currently undergoing extreme cold-weather testing, with an official debut scheduled for the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026. Leveraging Dongfeng’s 56 years of automotive manufacturing expertise, the new SUV boasts a solid foundation in safety and chassis tuning. Going forward, Yijing plans to launch at least one new model annually to build out its product portfolio.
