The high-performance electric SUV, the BMW iX3 M, was recently spotted undergoing road testing in northern Sweden. It is expected to launch in 2027, joining the i3 M sedan to form BMW’s all-electric performance lineup. The new model retains the silhouette of the standard iX3 but features large-diameter wheels, drilled brake discs, and blue high-performance calipers. Its front and rear ends are expected to sport more aggressive aerodynamic body kits and M badges. Inside, the iX3 M will come equipped with an M-specific sport steering wheel, red-and-blue contrast stitching, M-logo sport seats, a wraparound “Panoramic iDrive Display” extending across the A-pillar, and a 17.9-inch central infotainment screen. Powering the iX3 M will likely be a quad-motor setup, enabling front-axle decoupling for rear-wheel-drive mode. It will also feature a battery pack exceeding 100 kWh and an 800V high-voltage fast-charging system, delivering an estimated combined output of 700 to 800 horsepower.
