Recently, overseas automotive media outlet CarBuzz captured spy shots of a lightly camouflaged Mercedes-AMG GLC 53 SUV undergoing road testing in Sweden. The front fascia retains AMG’s signature vertical-slat grille, featuring a large central three-pointed star emblem, giving the vehicle a more aggressive overall appearance. Although the interior is covered with fabric wraps, it appears to carry over the current model’s layout while placing greater emphasis on upgraded digital experiences. Under the hood, the new model is expected to continue using a turbocharged inline-six engine paired with a mild-hybrid system. The current version produces 429 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. However, according to recent rumors, the updated model could see a significant power boost, potentially exceeding 500 horsepower.
