On January 16, Yu Zhi Jin, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, unveiled the latest safety data for the Qiankun ADS (Advanced Driving System): its assisted driving system has accumulated over 7.28 billion kilometers of safe driving mileage, with the average interval between severe collisions being 3.58 times longer than that of human drivers. Even when the vehicle is under human control, the system’s active safety technologies can extend the average interval between severe accidents to one incident per 4.9 million kilometers. In 2025 alone, the system prevented 2.12 million potential collisions and completed 330 million assisted parking maneuvers. In terms of user experience, active user penetration reached an impressive 98%, the intelligent assistant was activated 2.6 billion times, and the seamless handoff feature was used 132 million times—demonstrating industry-leading safety performance and high user engagement.
