Stellantis Group has recently ruled out the possibility of closing any of its European plants before 2026. On January 16, the head of the group's European operations stated in an interview that although its long-term strategy will depend on the EU regulatory framework, no plant closures will be implemented this year. He also called on the European Union to provide greater flexibility in carbon emissions regulations to support the sustainable development of the region’s automotive industry. It is reported that Stellantis plans to unveil a new strategic roadmap by the end of the first half of this year, further clarifying its future direction in the European market.
