On January 17, BYD announced that the cumulative number of vehicles equipped with its "God's Eye" advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) has surpassed 2.56 million units, spanning its entire brand portfolio—including Dynasty, Ocean, Fangchengbao, Denza, and Yangwang—with vehicle prices ranging from the ¥70,000 Seagull to the million-yuan-class Yangwang U8. The system generates over 160 million kilometers of real-world driving data daily—equivalent to more than the average distance from Earth to the Sun—covering a full range of scenarios such as highway navigation, urban commuting, and intelligent parking, thereby providing robust support for continuous AI algorithm optimization. In December 2024 alone, BYD sold 191,041 ADAS-equipped vehicles. Leveraging its massive user base and high-frequency data feedback, BYD’s intelligent driving technology has entered a new phase of large-scale deployment and rapid iteration, significantly accelerating the industry-wide adoption of smart driving.
